Casa Grande, Arizona (April 12, 2025)………David Gasper led all led all 30 laps to claim his fourth career Avanti Windows & Doors USAC CRA Sprint Car feature victory on Saturday night at Casa Grande’s Central Arizona Raceway.
The triumph was the Goleta, California native’s second of the USAC CRA season, both of which have come in a one week span after he also captured the win on April 5 at California’s Perris Auto Speedway in his Kittle Motorsports/Gasper Racing no. 18 entry.
R.J. Johnson (Laveen, Arizona), Ricky Lewis (Camarillo, California), J.J. Yeley (Phoenix, Arizona), and Charles Davis Jr. (Buckeye, Arizona) rounded out the top-five in the 30-lap main event.
“Chargin” Charles Davis Jr. lived up to his nickname and received a $200 hard charger bonus courtesy of Steve Lafond and Rich’s Auto.
For the second night in a row, defending series champion R.J. Johnson set a new track record and earned the Woodland Auto Display/WC Friend Company Access Systems Fast Time Award at Central Arizona.
Johnson also captured the win in the In Honor of Wiley Miller Sr. and Wiley Miller II / Sexton Fire Protection first heat race. A.J. Bender (San Diego, California) scored the Silbermann Solar/Factory Wraps second heat race win. Brody Roa (Garden Grove, California) was the victor of the WC Friend Company Access Systems/In Memory of Jim and Chet Gardner third heat race.
