OCALA, FL (March 4, 2025) — Top Fuel team owner and driver Josh Hart is always looking for a new challenge. In 2025 the owner of Burnyzz Speed Shop in Ocala, Florida, will add Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown Series driver to his ever-expanding racing resume. Hart, a multi-time Top Fuel national event winner, will campaign the Burnyzz Speed Shop Dodge Challenger for all eight Factory Stock races beginning with this weekend’s Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals.
Hart, who will be racing with the David H Davies Racing team on the Flexjet Factory Stock side, started his career bracket racing, will have to learn the two step staging procedure and get used to shifting down the quarter mile track. The veteran driver is confident but not overly so.
“I will have to get used to trusting the two step, but I am excited to make some good passes and hopefully win some rounds at the Gatornationals,” said Hart, a multi-time Top Fuel national event winner. “I am looking forward to running the Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown series this season. It will be a challenge, but I am excited about the opportunity. I have had this race car for a while, and I love the look of it as the Burnyzz Speed Shop Dodge Challenger.”
Throughout his career both in business and racing Hart has lived by the mantra “Anything’s Possible.” He built a mobile car detailing business into a multi-million-dollar speed shop and custom car operation with his wife, Brittanie, starting with only $300 in their pockets. Burnyzz Speed Shop builds out, designs, consigns and delivers world class classic cars all over the world.
In 2024 the Harts added a venture capital group to make the dream of growing Burnyzz Speed Shop into a national brand. The Flexjet Factory Stock Showdown Series endeavor under the Burnyzz Speed Shop livery is one step of the branding process.
“We have big goals for the expansion of Burnyzz Speed Shop,” said Hart. “I think a lot of people don’t know what we do or don’t know how big our operation is in Ocala. I have an amazing team at Burnyzz and I want to get the word out to potential clients. I love everything about classic cars and race cars. Racing Flexjet Factory Stock will help raise that awareness and should be a lot of fun.”
