CLEVELAND (June 24, 2025) — Multi-time Top Fuel NHRA national event winner and Factory Stock Showdown Series rookie Josh Hart brought all his horsepower to the Flexjet corporate headquarters today for an NHRA Hype Day, employee appreciation event. The event hosted by Factory Stock Showdown Series sponsor Flexjet featured Hart’s 12,000-horsepower R+L Carriers Top Fuel dragster as well as his Burnyzz Speed Shop Dodge Challenger Drag Pak which receives technical support under the David H Davies Racing (DHDR) umbrella. Davies’ Mission 22 Dodge Challenger was also on display.

“This was a great way to get race week started before the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk,” said Hart, a finalist at the 2022 national event. “We are hosting Flexjet guests all weekend in our hospitality tent so getting them up close to the R+L Carriers Top Fuel dragster and the Burnyzz Speed Shop Dodge Challenger was a cool introduction. It was also great to see the Flexjet operation, which is incredibly impressive.”

Nearly 400 employees enjoyed lunch and a burnout exhibition by Davies and his Mission 22 Dodge Challenger. The guests were also able to talk with R+L Carriers crew members and the merging of aviation technicians and marketing executives with the NHRA crew members led to lively conversations about acceleration, top speeds and overall performance that leads to excellence. The common thread that weaved itself through all three organizations from Hart’s Top Fuel team to Burnyzz Speed Shop to DHDR to Flexjet was excellence in execution.

“You look at our racing operation and the Flexjet organization and they are all built on excellence, performance and doing everything at the highest level,” said Hart. “A million things have to go right for these 12,000 horsepower Top Fuel dragsters to make a great run and one miscue can cost you a win. Flexjet operates with the same mindset both on the aviation services side and the luxury aircraft side. Everything must be perfect. I am looking forward to showing off for these folks at the racetrack starting Friday with qualifying.”
