GAINESVILLE, Fla. (March 07, 2025) – Justin Ashley, driver of the SCAG Power Equipment Toyota Top Fuel dragster, will take on two-time world champion Brittany Force in the opening round of the Right Trailers Top Fuel All Star Callout.
Eight of the best Top Fuel dragster pilots qualified for the specialty Top Fuel race taking place at Gainesville Raceway this weekend during the Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals. Ashley was the No. 4 seed and by the luck of the draw was matched with Force.
“This weekend in particular is probably one of my favorites because you have the start of the season and the Top Fuel Callout. There’s a level of unpredictability there. I didn’t get to call someone out and wasn’t called out either, so it ended up Brittany Force and I,” Ashley said. “Super excited for the opportunity to race her, she’s the two-time champ for a reason. I think we’ll bring out the best in each other both as drivers and as teams. We’re going to both be eager to turn on win lights, that’s for sure.”
Ashley is currently qualified No. 14 after running 3.782-seconds at 324.44 during Friday evening’s session, while SCAG Racing Funny Car teammates Daniel Wilkerson, driver of the SCAG Ford Mustang and Dave Richards, driver of the BlueBird Turf / Versatran hot rod, are No. 4 and No. 17, respectively.
