During a press conference featuring a star-studded field of Red Line Oil NHRA drivers the company outlined how they plan to utilize the PRO Super Star Shootout to kick off the 2025 racing season.

“Last year’s Pro Superstar Shootout was unlike any other race I had been to. Red Line Oil, a leading manufacturer of engine oils and lubricants, joined the inaugural event last year and saw the opportunity to be involved in a unique racing event. The PRO Superstar Shootout under the direction of PRO Promotions, LLC, continues to focus on stepping outside the box and try new ideas, an ideal fit for an innovative brand like Red Line Oil.

Leaning into the new opportunities will be the first-time appearance by Red Line Oil backed driver Shawn Reed at the 2025 PRO Superstar Shootout. Reed burst onto the NHRA scene full-time in 2024 and turned heads with strong performances all season, including No. 2 qualifier at the Carolina Nationals and a semifinal finish at the Midwest Nationals in St. Louis.

“I can’t wait to get to the PRO Superstar Shootout in February,” said Reed. “I watched the event last year and was really excited about everything I saw both as a competitor and a fan of the sport. This is the kind of new event and unique opportunity to highlight brands like Red Line Oil that have been great to me and so many other drivers in Top Fuel and Funny Car. I am looking forward to the opportunity to mix it up in February at Bradenton Motorsports Park.”

The event today at SEMA also provided the opportunity for Red Line Oil drivers including Top Fuel team owner and driver Krista Baldwin, who acted as the event emcee, Top Fuel driver Jasmine Salinas, team owner Mike Salinas and PRO Board Member and Funny Car driver Paul Lee to talk about their enthusiasm for the PRO Superstar Shootout, February 6-8, 2025. Red Line’s engine oils and other lubricants are used by numerous teams in the Top Fuel and Funny Car ranks.
