Indianapolis, Indiana (September 13, 2025)………Starting 18th on the grid ain’t no thang for Jakeb Boxell.

From his outside row nine starting position, the Zanesville, Indiana racer scurried up through the field, then made the winning pass around the outside of Michael Magic with three laps remaining to win Friday’s USAC Midwest Thunder SpeeD2 Midget Ashlea Albertson Memorial feature at Indianapolis, Indiana’s Circle City Raceway.

Magic led the first 22 circuits from the pole, but Boxell proved to be too much in the end as he collected his second career series triumph in his Boxell-Merkler Racing No. 404.

Magic (Winder, Georgia) took second with Matt Lux (Manilla, Indiana) third, Luke Hall (Ludlow Falls, Ohio) fourth and Bryce Massingill (Troy, Ohio) fifth.
