DALLAS (November 10, 2025) — The second season of Talkin’ Funny Cars with Buddy Hull comes to an exciting close this week with a can’t-miss finale featuring one of the most beloved figures in drag racing, Tim Wilkerson. The episode premieres Wednesday, November 12, at 8 p.m. ET and 8 p.m. PT on the NHRA FAST Channel.

Host Buddy Hull sits down with Wilkerson for a heartfelt and insightful conversation covering his remarkable journey through the world of Funny Car racing. From his humble beginnings working his way up in the sport to his unforgettable 2008 season, where he came within reach of the championship and received a rare standing ovation at the NHRA Awards Banquet, Wilkerson shares stories that showcase the determination and passion that have defined his career. The episode also dives into his role as crew chief for his son, Daniel Wilkerson, who now drives the SCAG Wilkerson Racing Funny Car, carrying on the family legacy.
