Night of Destruction Returns to Perris Auto Speedway This Saturday!

Perris, California — March 10, 2026 — After a thrilling opening night four weeks ago, the “Craziest Show On Dirt,” Night of Destruction, roars back to Perris Auto Speedway this Saturday, March 14th. Spectator gates will open at 5:00 p.m., and the first crash of the night will take place at 7:05.

Saturday’s Night of Destruction will feature five wild and unpredictable classes that always keep fans on the edge of their seats: the daring Figure 8’s, the crazy Figure 8 Trailer Race, the twisting-road-course for the mini stocks, the rough-and-tumble Demo Cross, and the crowd-favorite Double Deckers. When the Night of Destruction season opened three weeks ago, the weather was anything but pleasant. Rain had fallen for several days leading up to the event, and the night itself was cold and windy. Despite the conditions, a solid crowd still packed the stands and was treated to a wild evening filled with crashes, chaos, and non-stop action.

Fans can expect the same kind of mayhem this Saturday night. The big difference will be the weather. The forecast is calling for unseasonably warm conditions, with a high of 88 degrees in Perris. By the time the first race begins at 7:05, temperatures are expected to drop to a very comfortable 76 degrees, making it a perfect night for fans to enjoy the action from the grandstands.

“Despite the poor weather going on before the last race, our advance ticket sales were very good,” promoter Don Kazarian said. “Then we had a great walk-up sale. Once there, the fans saw a great show with lots of crashing and on-track chaos.”

“Weather-wise, this week is totally opposite. We are going to have summer like temperatures and we have not had any rain for a few weeks. It is going to be a pleasant night for fans in the stands.”

Along with the great weather, fans can expect another night of wild competition on the track. In addition to the regular competitors, several new cars and drivers will be making their Night of Destruction debuts on Saturday. One of the newcomers is Samantha Sachs. Her grandfather, Neil, once worked as an official at the legendary Ascot Park in Gardena, and her father, Fred, is the longtime head scorer at Perris.

Sachs’ older brother, Jason, began racing in Night of Destruction two years ago and finished 10th in the first mini stock main event this season. A talented young photographer, he will miss this week’s race while covering Saturday’s Sporting Kansas City vs. Los Angeles Galaxy Major League Soccer match. Ironically, Samantha had to miss the race three weeks ago to attend an ROTC Ball.

“It will be fun to watch Samantha on Saturday,” Kazarian said. “ She and Jason have been around the track since they were little kids. They are good kids with great parents. Both have worked at the track. Jason operates the scoreboard on Sprint Car and Stock Car nights and Samantha has done several jobs around the facility.”

Fans are urged to arrive early for the always-popular on-track autograph session and candy giveaway with all of the drivers from 5:15 to 6:00 p.m.

Adults – $25.00
Students 13-17 (with school ID) – $15.00
Kids 6-12 – $10.00
Active Military (with proper ID) – $5.00
Children 5 and under – Free

Fairgrounds Parking $20.00 (Parking is payable by card only)

After Saturday’s Night of Destruction, the Avanti Windows and Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Cars and the PASSCAR Super Stocks, Street Stocks, and American Factory Stocks will return to The PAS on March 21.

Advance tickets for all races are available at tix.com.  For fans who do not want to purchase advance tickets, there will be plenty available for everyone at the ticket windows on race night.
