Sprint Cars and Stock Cars Share The Bill In A Four Division Show This Saturday Night At Perris Auto Speedway!

Perris, California — March 18, 2026 — Racing returns to Perris Auto Speedway this Saturday, March 21, when Heimark Distributors presents the Avanti Windows and Doors USAC/CRA Sprint Cars, PASSCAR Super Stocks, Street Stocks, and American Factory Stocks. Spectator gates for the quadruple-header show will open at 5:00 p.m., with racing getting underway at 7:00.

One class that was not on the season opener card but will be added this Saturday is the Super Stocks. The fastest stock cars currently competing at the track will kick off their 2026 campaign this weekend.

“We initially planned to have the Super stocks as part of the track’s 30th season opener last month,” track promoter Don Kazarian said. “However, Mohave Valley Raceway in Arizona had already scheduled them for their annual Bill and Shirley Meyer Memorial. We did not want to schedule over that, so we held the Super Stock season opener off until this week.”

Heading the list of entries for the Super Stocks on Saturday will be Ricky Lee of Banning. Last year, Lee won his second class title in three years.

In addition to Lee and the other regulars, a blast from the past will return to the track on Saturday. After several years away, Dale Underwood, who won the track’s first-ever Champ Truck title in 1999, will be back in action.

“It will be good to see Dale back on the track,” Kazarian stated. “He is one of only a handful of drivers who have raced both sprint cars and stock cars at the track. He was our first truck champion, and he was a regular in stock cars and modifieds as well before jumping into a sprint car. He is one of those guys who just loves to race and will drive anything.”

At the track’s 30th season opener five weeks ago, defending USAC/CRA Sprint Car champion RJ Johnson of Laveen, Arizona, won the main event. He was chased across the line by fellow Arizonan Charles Davis Jr. of Buckeye and local driver Austin Williams of Corona. All three are expected to be back on hand on Saturday night.

In the companion Street Stock main event at the season opener, Justin Dunn of Fontana, who previously won IMCA Modified mains at The PAS, made his debut in the Street Stocks and overwhelmed the competition to score a convincing win. Chasing him home in second and third were Yorba Linda’s Chad Mahony and his teammate, Morgan Rowland of Riverside.

Austyn Jaramillo of Winchester, who began his racing career in Night of Destruction competition at the track, raced home first in the American Factory Stock main event. He beat Ramona’s Andrew Schmitz and three-time class champion David Stites of Canyon Lake to Chris Fulton’s checkered flag.

There will be a dance contest for kids at intermission, with prizes for the best dancers. There will also be T-shirt launches and the “Heat Race Heroes” contest, where some lucky fans will have a chance to win free tickets to upcoming races.

Adult tickets for Saturday’s show are $30.00. Seniors 65 and over get in for $25.00. For students ages 13-17 with a school ID, tickets are $15.00. Kids ages 6-12 get in for $10.00, and children 5 and under are free. Active military members with proper ID get in for $5.00.

Fairgrounds parking is $20.00 and is payable by card only.

The popular Night of Destruction will return on April 25.

Advance tickets for all races are available at tix.com.  For fans who do not want to purchase advance tickets, there will be plenty available for everyone at the ticket windows on race night.
