USAC MIDGETS AT COLES COUNTY POSTPONED, JACKSONVILLE CANCELED DUE TO RAIN

Mattoon, Illinois (August 15, 2026)………The Illinois weekend for the USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship has been rained out.

The Lake Land College King of Coles scheduled for Saturday, August 15, at Coles County Speedway in Mattoon, Illinois has been postponed. The event has been rescheduled for Monday, September 7, on Labor Day weekend.

The Premiere, slated for Sunday, August 16, at Jacksonville Speedway has been canceled. The event will not be rescheduled.

The USAC NOS Energy Drink Midget National Championship now resumes with a major weekend of racing action featuring three events across a four-night span: Wayne County Speedway in Wayne City, Illinois on Friday, September 4; Angell Park Speedway in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin on Sunday, September 6; and Coles County Speedway on Monday, September 7.

The USAC national racing season resumes with this coming Saturday’s Bettenhausen 100 for the USAC Silver Crown Championship at Springfield’s Illinois State Fairgrounds on August 22.
