WEST ALLIS, Wis. (Saturday, Aug. 29, 2026) – The NTT INDYCAR SERIES could feature 410 laps of racing action Sunday at the Milwaukee Mile after rain Saturday afternoon forced a delay of the completion of the first race of the Snap-on INDYCAR Weekend doubleheader.

The red flag flew over the historic 1.015-mile oval due to rain after 90 of the scheduled 250 laps of the Snap-on Makers and Fixers 250, with Pato O’Ward leading in the No. 5 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet. The race will resume at 9 a.m. ET and run the full 250-lap distance or until 10:25 a.m. ET, whichever comes first.

FS1, FOX One and the INDYCAR Radio Network will provide live coverage starting at 9 a.m. ET.

Live coverage of the second race of the doubleheader, the Snap-on Milwaukee Mile 250, will start as scheduled at 1 p.m. ET on FOX, FOX One and the INDYCAR Radio Network. Reigning and four-time series champion Alex Palou will start on the pole for that 250-lap race in the No. 10 DHL Chip Ganassi Racing Honda.

The rain that forced the red flag ended, but INDYCAR and track officials determined there was not enough daylight remaining to completely dry the oval, pit lane and access lanes for competition.

The INDY NXT by Firestone race also will start as scheduled at 11 a.m. ET Sunday.
