CHILI’S ® NAMED TITLE SPONSOR OF USAC SPRINT CAR SMACKDOWN AUG 27-29 AT KOKOMO

Kokomo, Indiana (August 11, 2026)………Chili’s Grill & Bar will serve as the title sponsor of Sprint Car Smackdown XV on August 27-28-29, 2026, at Indiana’s Kokomo Speedway.

Chili’s Sprint Car Smackdown XV will present three consecutive nights of USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship racing at the 1/4-mile dirt oval, culminating in a $30,000 winner’s share during the Saturday night finale, which also offers up to $20,000 extra in lap leader money, with a minimum of $1,500 to start.

Chili’s has been the primary sponsor on several winning cars across a variety of series in conjunction with Spire Motorsports, including the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and FloRacing Night in America Series with Carson Hocevar, High Limit Racing with Giovanni Scelzi, and ARCA Menards Series East with Tristan McKee. However, Smackdown marks Chili’s first foray into USAC racing.

Past Sprint Car Smackdown champions include five-time and defending winner Justin Grant (2018-21-23-24-25), plus three-time winners Dave Darland (2013-14-15) and Tyler Courtney (2017-19-20), as well as one-time victors Bryan Clauson (2012), Kevin Thomas Jr. (2016), and Kyle Cummins (2022). Grant, Thomas, and Cummins all intend to add another title to their list in 2026.

In addition, a pit feed sponsored by Chili’s will be held for all Smackdown competitors prior to on track action on Saturday, August 29, during Smackdown.

Sprint Car Smackdown 2026 tickets are on sale now at https://www.kokomospeedway.net/. Three-day Smackdown passes are only $90 through August 16. After August 16, three-day passes will be $100. To purchase by phone, please call 779-230-1310.

Single night Smackdown tickets for ages 13 and above are $30 on Thursday and Friday, and $40 on Saturday. General admission tickets for kids age 12 and under are free. Tickets will also be sold at the track on race day. General admission seating are rows 1-11 on the front grandstands and rows 1-8 on the back grandstands.

On Thursday of Smackdown, gates open at 3pm Eastern with cars on track at 6:30pm. On Friday, gates open at 4pm with cars on track at 6:30pm. On Saturday, gates open at 4pm with cars on track at 6pm.
